With over an 80-year history, Winter Park Resort is Colorado's longest continually operated ski resort. Base elevation is 9,000 feet and climbs 3,060 ft to the summit at 12,060. Winter Park features "Seven Territories" across 3,081 acres of award-winning terrain. From groomers to black diamonds at the Winter Park Territory; world-class glade skiing in the Eagle Wind Territory; panoramic bowl skiing/riding in the Parsenn Bowl Territory; jumps and jibs in the Terrain Park Territory; off-the-beaten path powder stashes of the Vasquez Ridge Territory; steeps and deeps of the Cirque Territory; to the world-famous bumps at Mary Jane Territory, there is something for everyone at Winter Park Resort. Averaging over 320 inches of annual snowfall, 300 days of sunshine, and located just 67 miles northwest of Denver, Winter Park Resort is the closest major destination resort to Denver International Airport.
Whatever you want to do, try, explore, or discover next, you'll find it at Winter Park. With seven distinct ski and ride territories delivering on-mountain excitement for all levels, and a village and surrounding area full of countless off-mountain activities, Winter Park Resort is quite simply the hub of winter adventure in Colorado. Always offering more than you imagined. Enjoy tubing, dog sledding, cirque sled, fat biking, ice skating, and cross-country skiing at nearby Nordic Areas.
The Winter Park Ski School has programs for kids and adults. Are you yearning to tree ski or attack moguls - take one of the skills clinics for Trees and Steeps or Bumps. Another program at Winter Park is their partnership with the National Sports Center for the Disabled and there are numerous programs for people with a variety of disabilities.
