Distant Trips

KSOC plans trips throughout the year taking into consideration where we have been in the past, to new locations club members have requested. Each year trips are offered for skiing, snowboarding and other great adventures. The distant trips committee plans trips for all levels of skiers and many trips have activities for non-skiers. Have you ever been on a boat ride on Lake Garda in Italy…or have you ever skied the Alps…or maybe taken an early morning train ride in wine country? Each year, new and exciting locations are planned for KSOC travelers.

Local Trips

The local trips committee plans ski trips for all levels of skiers to locations within 400 miles of Knoxville. Each year, trips are planned at Beech or Sugar Mountains in North Carolina or Snowshoe Ski Resort, West Virginia. KSOC works to get group discounts and arrange travel for these shorter trips to make it easier for those not wanting to commit to a full seven-day trip or hassle with airline travel. These trips are usually 2-3 days.
