This month, in preparation for Cinco de Mayo, Total Wine is hosting a Tequila tasting class on Saturday, April 26th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at their Turkey Creek location at 11370 Parkside Drive in Knoxville. The Margarita is a favorite cocktail for many, and they take a closer look at the spirit that brings it to life. They will explore the difference between Tequila and Mezcal, take an in-depth look at production styles, and sample a few favorites ranging from the bright Blanco Tequila, to savory Anejo and smoky Mezccal. Finger food is typically available to go along with the tasting. These classes are quite popular so, if you are interested, please go online to http://www.totalwine.com and register as soon as possible. There is a $20 fee to reserve your place, and if you are unable to attend, it is non-refundable. When you attend, your $20 is refunded in the form of a $20 gift card to Total Wine. We have been to several of their classes, and they are always informative and definitely FUN. If you are coming, please call Jo Vaccaro at (865) 919-2969 so she can reserve seats for us. Look forward to seeing you there!
