A few of you suggested going back to Loco Burro again. All suggestions are much appreciated.This Mexican restaurant is located in West Town Mall, 7600 Kingston Pike, 865-253-7555. It will be on October 4 at 5:30. HH snacks are available I was told. We will meet on the balcony unless the weather doesn’t permit. They will reseat us if necessary. Let’s hope for a pleasant evening, but we will have fun with each other regardless!           —Chuckie

Join us for our fall camping trip in BSF! Our Bandy Creek Campground site has a covered pavilion with electricity and bathrooms with showers. Activities include mountain biking and horseback riding. The Saturday hike is on Middle Creek trail in Big South Fork. The trailhead is on Divide Road and the trail is a loop, about 4 miles long, considered to be moderately difficult. The trail includes several rock houses, two are large, one similar to Hazard Cave. We will carpool from the pavilion, leaving at 9:30 EST. For more details and registration forms, contact Tom Cressler at cressler@retiree.utk.edu or leave a message at 865-582-5622. Registration with Tom is required by Thursday, September 26 (tomorrow!). If you want to come just for the hike on Saturday there is no charge. Just be at the Bandy Creek E-1 Loop pavilion before 9:30 EST.

On October 18 at 4:30 we‘ll meet at the bar at Chesapeake’s, (Yay!!) 9630 Parkside Dr. 865-851-9088. They suggested 4:30 in order for us to get the large tables, as Fridays fill up so quickly. Those that are first, Please do so. Thanks, Chuckie

This is a perfect opportunity for KSOC members to get together and PARTY!!!! We will receive discounted room rates at the Glenstone Lodge located at 504 Airport Road near Highway 441 and, we will be able to partake in all the fun and none of the work. See the August Fall Line for details. The registration fee is $45 per person and optional breakfast at the Log Cabin is $16 per person (additional cost) for any item on the menu. Send your check to Carole Mustaleski. Rooms at the Glenstone Lodge range from $139 to $159 per night depending on your room selection.
